[Room 601] Overall, a positive experience....

We booked Chada Thai House for a couple of nights after reading good reviews on Tripadvisor, and overall have to agree with most of the positives. The only gripes we have are... (a) the "hot" water wasn't hot at all, in fact it wasn't even luke warm, which is OK once you've dunked your head under it a couple of times and splashed about a bit, but it is a bit nippy in the mornings! (b) The aircon is rather weak, and it's an old integrated style unit, with a control on the wall, so if you want to change any settings in the middle of the night, you have to get up and enter them on the wall console. (c) Awful cable-only TV. Really, in 2024 there's no excuse not to have even just a small 24" smart TV hooked up to the WiFI for a bit of YouTube or Netflix now and again... we're not all in town for the crazy nightlife! ;-) Other than those relatively minor gripes, it's a great little old Thai-style hotel at the deep end of a very quiet soi, about half-way between Royal Garden and Central Plaza, and just a 5 minute/400m walk to the [questionable!] beach. Check in and check out was quick and painless, and a lift (elevator, for our American friends!) directly opposite the front desk takes you up to your floor. No worries about lugging bags/cases up stairs in 33° heat here! Oh, and the bed is super comfy, and there was a lovely little balcony looking out onto the treetops, with loads of butterflies and dragonflies and bees, if you like that sort of thing!!! :-) Just a couple of minor improvements could see this little hotel get 5* across the board!

Hidden at the end of a quiet soi with laundry right at the door step location is excellent walking distance to restaurant’s , supermarket,beach and nightlife. The staff& management are very nice and helpful. The rooms are standard,very clean quiet with really good bed and good air conditioner, price is great. I really enjoyed my stay👍👍

We found chada thai house on trip adviser and all the reviews we read where spot on. Firstly the reception staff where out standing (preaw and nan ) so helpful friendly. The location is central and close to everything, the rooms are very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, there was no noise from music or parties when in the room. Value for money is excellent Location excellent Rooms excellent Staff absolutely excellent.

Great motel in a very quiet setting, close to all the action and the beach and shopping centers are a stroll away, very clean and a relaxing atmosphere with a great balcony for eating and drinking, not a huge motel which is a nice change from the normal huge stays

At the end of a dead end soi so quiet for location in centre of Pattaya. Laundry next door. Good service and comfortable rooms with balconies. Good value. Close to all the main attractions. Good bar at end of soi and 7/11 just around the corner. Very clean. Unpretentious.
